Missionary Society

The Missionary Society of the First Baptist Church of Englewood is called upon to display the love of Jesus by performing many acts of kindness. The Missionary Society is to set forth, in practice, the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by ministering to the sick and shut-ins, the needy, and the suffering in our church and community at large; to set forth, through example, the witness of giving, sacrificing and stewardship; to create and execute relevant and meaningful programs to meet the needs of our young people and lead then in a meaningful Christian service; to provide opportunities to engage in wholesome, meaningful, and progressive Christian growth that will result in transforming evil into good, pain into wellness, and death into new life.
